Nicholas Forret, a photographer whose interest in the field was born through playing around with his father's old Pentax SLR. His passion flourished in High School when he decided to take the necessary steps in becoming a professional in the field. He joined the school's photography club, became part of the yearbook's photography division, and re-took a graphic design course so he could not only teach basic photography and darkroom use, but also have full access to that resource within his high school. To get tips for the trade, Forret would meet with as many local image centre for several summers - furthering his knowledge in the field.

After graduating high school in 2004, he continued to Holland College in PEI to pursue that interest and took the photography & Digital Imaging course. Gaining vast knowledge in the industry, from professional composition and lightling to in-depth Photoshop and business skills. Forret decided to take advantage of his resources and become part of the photographic equipment department, resulting in even more familiarity with the equipment. He graduated from Holland College in 2007 and after two years of thorough study within the photographic field.

He then moved to Fredericton, NB, hoping to find more opportunities for employment within his field. He is currently freelancing for the University of New Brunswick.
